Pre-Licensing is a 15-hour course that providers are required to complete before opening a family childcare home in Colorado. This course will go over the introduction of the family childcare home and the following topics: Business practices, space design, and guidance that support safe and responsive care, communication in Family Childcare Homes, and health, safety, and nutrition.
