Family Bridges

Family Bridges provides advocacy, resources, and education for families with children birth to age 8. Our staff connects families to community resources. This is not a one-size-fits-all program. It is designed to support each family in their unique situation and provide holistic support.

  • Through Family Bridges, we assist families in identifying community resources and addressing barriers to improve well-being. Our staff:

  • Assist families with identifying community resources and addressing barriers

  • Collaborate with community partners

  • Connect ASQ assessments/developmental screenings and referrals to appropriate agency

  • Provide flexible support for childcare

Promoting Safe Stable Families

Through Family Bridges, we also offer sessions of The Incredible Years, a nationally-recognized parent education class.

This free 14-week parenting group follows the evidence-based Incredible Years© curriculum, offering a group setting where parents can learn strategies and skills that promote social skills and reduce behavior problems. Want to learn more about The Incredible Years? Visit their website here.

100% of caregivers that completed the program in 2018/19 demonstrated an increase in positive parenting habits.

We keep it small. Each group is under 20 parents, which allows everyone to connect on a deeper, personal level and share, support, and provide feedback to one another.

We provide dinner and childcare. Parents are not just welcome, but encouraged to bring their kids, which opens up the program to many who would not otherwise be able to come.

We keep it free. Our Incredible Years classes are funded by Invest in Kids, a Colorado nonprofit that supports IY and other programs that promote child health and well-being. Because of them, we're able to offer our classes for free to parents.
