Nurturing Fathers Program -Begins Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 5:45pm-8:15pm. A 13-week group based curriculum for developing attitudes and skills for male nurturance. Classes include: Dinner, Child care and curriculum. At no cost to fathers of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers living in Arapahoe County.
Point of Service (POS) Training –the first Tuesday of every month (Sept 5, Oct 3, Nov 7, Dec 5) from 6:30-8:30 pm
The POS is a required training in order to use the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program Point of Service. A large portion of the training is spent learning how to use the Point of Service (POS) device and practicing common functions.Two hours of continuing education at no cost. at the Arapahoe County Human Services Building.
Business Support Training- September 13th –6:30- 8:00pm. Mobile Directing – Running a Center from the Classroom Inquiry to Enrollment – Enrolling and Retaining Families. Join ECE professionals for a training designed to support your business. These trainings will provide 1.5 clock hours of training and will be held at Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council , 6436 S. Racine Circle Suite 100 Centennial, CO 80111.
Safe Sleep Training – Wednesday October 4, 2017 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Please join us for a Safe Sleep Training presented by ACECC staff. The training will provide 1.5 clock hours of training and will be held at the Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council 6436 S. Racine Circle Suite 100 Centennial, CO 80111.
CCCAP Quarterly Workshop-Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 8:00 1:00pm. Trauma Informed Care presented by staff from the Arapahoe County Child Protection Department. CCAP staff will be available to answer questions and give updates. Class held at the Arapahoe County DHS Building 14980 E Alameda Dr. Aurora, CO 80012. Light refreshments will be served. Providers will receive 3 hours of Professionalism.

Strengthening Families Series – Beginning in September! All providers are able to attend!!
Strengthening Families is a nationally and internationally recognized parenting and family strengthening framework that focuses on the strengths of families, rather than the deficits or risk factors, to build resilience and help them raise well-adjusted children. The Strengthening Families framework is relevant to any organization that works with young children and their families. Participants will be obtain tools to strengthen families and reduce risk factors for problem behaviors in high risk children. The training will be held from 6:00- 8:00 pm at ACECC.
