Supporting Family, Friend And Neighbor Care
Friends, Family and Neighbors (FFN) is an early childhood family support program available to non-traditional child care providers including grandparents, neighbors and friends caring for children birth to kindergarten. This program is designed to enhance child development and school achievement through care provider education.

In the first few years, children learn more and at a faster pace than any other time in life. You help shape a child’s future through the kinds of experiences you provide. Children are born to learn and as a care provider you are instrumental in the child’s growth and development.
Scholarship for Family Child Care Licensing Costs– Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council is pleased to offer scholarship funds for training and equipment required to acquire a permanent Child Care License from the State of Colorado Division of Child Care or to assist with costs related to retaining a permanent license. Provider must provide a suitable in-kind or cash match.

Arapahoe County Family Child Care Association– the ACFCCA is a non-profit association for licensed child care professionals who work for the benefit of the children in care, fellow providers, and our community’s needs. For more information, please visit www.acfcca.org.
A Caregiver Network is a nonprofit organization founded for the purpose of raising the quality of child care through support and training opportunities. Our membership base is comprised of licensed family child care providers, licensed child care centers, and early childhood advocates. Parents seeking a child care facility or home for their child may take advantage of our free child care referral line. All facilities referred out are licensed child care centers or licensed family child care homes.
Pre-Licensing classes, Medication Administration, Universal Precautions, CPR and First Aid classes are also offered. To register for any of our classes you can do so on our website www.caregivernetwork.org or download the registration form below and mail in your registration. The Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council partners with the Arapahoe Library District to provide Stories and More Theme-based stories for children with extended activities and Make and Take for parents or caregivers of young children.
