Help Finding Childcare

Childcare Navigation

What is a Child Care Navigator?

A child care navigator assists families in searching for quality child care providers. Families can contact us when they are in need of child care.  Our Navigator works with an average of 80 families each month. Families will tell us what they are looking for in a provider, whether it is a preschool curriculum, before and after school care, Montessori based curriculum or if the parent has a child with a disability. We then give the parents information on licensed providers that fit their needs and preferences.

Why is a Child Care Navigator Necessary?

With over 400 different child care providers in the Arapahoe County area alone it can be overwhelming trying to narrow down finding one center. Our navigator can help families simplify the process by giving them information on licensed providers that are close to them and meet their needs. This includes, but is not limited to, locating providers that work with the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), providers that offer a certain type of curriculum, home providers, before and after school programs for local schools, etc.
